Dreadzone will present new album in Prague on May 30th!

On 30th of May is the British band Dreadzone with their new album Escapades coming to the LMB! The band was found in 1993, when the drummer Greg Roberts met Tim Bran. To the formation came the bass player Leo Dynamite and the Jamaican singer Earl16, who brought the reggae and dub sound into the band. In 1993 they signed the contract with Creation Records, their debut album 360° was born and made not only fans of reggae and dub very happy, but also funs of the electronic music and journalists. In the upcoming year they signed the next contract, this time with Virgin Records, and their second album was born – Second Light – which is till today classic in this genre

In all this years of their carrier Dreadzone made one hit after the other. Their concerts have this great energy, you just have to dance and enjoy it. In 2011 they released a compilation of their 16 greatest songs – The Good, The Bad And The Dread. In 2012 they released re-edition of their Second Light. The new Dreadzone studio album, which will be out in 2013, is to be called ‘Escapades‘. Made this year at Mick Jones’ studio and Dread Central in West London it looks like the return of founder member Tim Bran on co-production/writing and keyboard duties. The 10 track album features Mick Jones on one track and vocalist Lena Cullen (Engine-Earz /She Is Danger) on another.

The formation of the band changed over the years: Greg Dread (drums), Leo Williams (bass), Mc Spee, Earl16 (vocal), Chris Compton (guitar) and DJ Bazil (keyboard).
