Major Lazer was originally the project of Diplo and Switch who separated in 2011. Diplo now works together with Dj Jillionair and Walsh from Miami´s Black Chimney Soundsystem, mainly at his live performances. The list of artists who he works with is long, e.g. Thom Yorke, La Roux, Santigold, Leftside, Amber Coffman, Elly Jackson, Beyoncé, No Doubt, Pusd and Shove, Busy Signal and Snoop Dog/Snoop Lion. In 2012 they announced that they have a new album ready, which should come out in February 2013 with the name Free the Universe. In October they went on tour through America, this year their goal is Europe. Major Lazer are coming 14^th of May to LMB.
