The United Islands festival organization confirmed the concert of the very talented singer Shamir from Las Vegas. The 20 years old musician is coming on the 18^th of August to the LMB.

Shamir started already in the age of 9 with composing his own songs. He got to the music through his aunt, who was working in the music business and invited musician to their home to teach Shamir play different instruments. After school he sent his demo to the New York label Godmode. Nick Sylvester, the owner, called him “RnB Yeezus” and in 2014 they signed the contract and released “Northtown”, followed by the debut album “Ratchet” in 2015.

There is no doubt about Shamir being a rising star. The Guardian writes about him: “Shamir Bailey writes modern, sweet love songs and declines to be defined by genres, he just wants to connect people. Be ready to get to know the modern pop star.”
He had a photo shooting with Vogue and the BBC calls him the new Prince. He himself takes the inspiration from Prince and also from Michael Jackson.
