About the event:

Neurosis is a post-metal band, based in Oakland, California. They formed in 1985 as a hardcore/punk band, and their sound progressed towards a doom metal style that also included influences from dark ambient and industrial music as well as incorporating elements of folk music.
It is said that great art has the power to take us outside of ourselves and bring us closer to ourselves simultaneously. Few bands have accomplished this rare feat on a more profound and consistent basis than the hard rock band Neurosis. Last year, they returned with the monumental release of their tenth studio album, Honor Found In Decay, which went on to receive countless plaudits from the press on a global scale. Their journey continues with these European tour dates in support of this vital album, one stop is Prague, LMB, and that after nearly 4 years. Support will be the band Terra Tenebrosa (ex-Breach). Their history started nearly three decades ago in Oakland, when Scott Kelly and Dave Edwardson founded the band. They took on board Steve Von Till (guitar, vocals, drums), Jason Roeder (drums) and Noah Landis (keyboard, samples) and released their debut album “Pain of Mind” two years later. After that they released many epic records, e.g. “Through Silver In Blood” (1996) and “Times Of Grace” (1999). That the band is with the time getting even stronger show the last records “Given To The Rising” (2007) and the latest album “Honor Found In Decay” (2012). Since 1985 this matchless force has surpassed the boundaries of any genre, never ceasing to mutate and progress their songwriting and sonic delivery, and never failing to mesmerize audiences both in the studio and onstage.
